Why do I have to pay to play with cats?
We depend on our guest's cover to support the cost of our beautiful facilities in the Heights, our wonderful caring staff and for the vetting costs and supplies provided to our resident cats. We are only able to provide this service because our customers and donors see the value in our mission of adopting cats in a comfortable, stress-free environment.
How much does it cost?
Individual sessions are $18/ person. Private group reservations are $110 and covers 6 people. Additional guests (over 6) can join a private session for a cost of $18/person.

Can I bring my cat?
We understand that the term "cat cafe" can seem deceiving. Unfortunately, the answer is no, we are not a "BYOC(at)" establishment. We are a space that cares for adoptable cats and we cannot allow cats from home to be brought into our space. It is in the best interest of your personal cat(s) and the cats under our care.

Are the cats adoptable?
Yes, they are! The main benefit of adopting from us is having the ability to meet several cats and kittens in a peaceful, living-room-like setting. This allows you to pick-out the cat you best bond with. As such, we only process applications for our customers that have visited with us and have selected a cat or kitten. You can apply to adopt in advance of your visit if you have a scheduled session with us. Book your session here.
The adoption fee is $95. You can apply at http://www.elgatocoffeehouse.com/adoption-application. Once approved you receive a 7-day trial period called a sleepover to ensure the cat is a good fit for your home. Email adoption questions to elgatoadoptions@gmail.com
