Kitty Crochet 101 Class

Come have a crafternoon surrounded by cats making cat toys! This Crochet 101 class is a beginner class with a second advanced class to be held later based on interest. In this beginner course you will be making a cat wand teaser and learning the basics of crocheting.

All craft materials will be supplied and instructions provided. Excess cat toys will be donated to the Houston Humane Society to help with enrichment for the shelter cats. Spend an afternoon learning new skills and making new friends both furry and human!

When this class is complete you will have learned how to:learn how to create a slip knot learn the chain stitch learn the single stitch learn how to increase learn how to decrease learn to read a crochet pattern

Adult Craft Passes - $35                                                                                

Student Craft Passes -$32 (with valid college id)                                        

Kid Craft Passes - $25 (17 and under)

Bottomless coffee and crafting materials are included in the cost of the pass.

Chynna DeHoyos is leading the Craft-along. Chynna is a self taught crafter, who has been crafting for 11 years. Chynna became interested in crafting when she found how relaxing it can be. Chynna has experience with needlework, crochet, knitting and sewing. She is excited to share her love crafting with others especially surrounded by kitties. Chynna will be teaching a crochet class with the El Gato resident adoptables in May.
